As a Christ-Centered community, we strive to be Authentic, Invitational, and Missional. No matter who you are, what you look like, what you believe; whatever your past or present - we want to hang out with you, have fun, and talk about God!

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A CHRISTIAN TO COME!!!  If you just want to check things out, meet some new friends, or even hear more about what Christians believe, you are ALWAYS welcome.  We won't judge you or turn you away - we're no better than anyone else, we all have insecurities and issues, and we definitely don't have it all together.  We want to be genuine and honest about our lives, love each other unconditionally, and try to grow closer to God as a community.

There are all kinds of ways to get plugged in to InterVarsity:

1) Come to our weekly Large Group worship services.  Basically, this is just what it sounds like - a large group of people hanging out together, making friends and having fun, but ultimately worshipping Jesus through music, prayer, and the teaching of the Bible.

2) Get plugged into a weekly Small Group Bible Study.  Also what it sounds like (what our names lack in creativity, they make up for in clarity!) - a smaller group of people getting together to study the Bible each week, but also to get to know each other by hanging out week after week, praying for each other, having fun together.  These small groups take place at different times and locations throughout the week. You can find out more about Small Groups here.

3) Come to any of our Events.  We do all kinds of events - from serving the needy in the Chapel Hill/Carrboro/Durham community to playing paintball to a semi-formal dance to going on a prayer walk around campus to Volleyball and Dodgeball tournaments to baking cookies to ultimate frisbee.  One of our most popular events every year is our Beach Retreat happening Sept 18-20 in Ocean Isle!!  Check the events tab and check your weekly IV email for information about all these events!

4) Get on our Email List.  We know - getting bombarded by excessive emails is the WORST.  By signing up for our email list, you'll get at most 2 emails a week (most weeks one) that ONLY include info about our upcoming events and how to get involved.  Email us at This email address is being protected from spambots.
